Forbes Contributor Scotty Reiss (A Girls Guide to Cars) shows off the X Gran Berlinetta and Neolun, and explains the real reason concept cars are so important for brands.<br/><br/>The Genesis X Berlinetta concept is a piping hot orange colored Korean supercar. Created by Genesis for the Vision Gran Turismo series, this sleek coupe is powered by a hybrid V6 powertrain pumping out a total of 1071 hp and 986 lb-ft of torque. For anyone wanting to drive the X Berlinetta (virtually of course), just access Gran Turismo 7, as the car was added to the game in January.<br/><br/>The fully-electric Neolun (meaning “new moon”) is a big, hyper-luxurious SUV concept with a lavish two-row interior with front seats that swivel backward, but it could easily be a three-row machine if it reaches production.<br/><br/>Inside, the Neolun is full of ambitious features, only some of which would make it to a real-world model. Rotating seats and coach doors have been done before on other vehicles, but the radiant heating in the floor and the complete lack of a B-pillar are ambitious indeed. _based-on-alfa-romeo-4c-limited-to-5-pieces-new-abarth-classiche-1300-ot.webp "The mid-engine sports car, which is part of the brand's 75th anniversary celebrations, is likely based on the Alfa Romeo 4C and only five units will be produced.<br/><br/>The 75th birthday celebrations of Fiat's own tuning company, Abarth, continue at full speed.<br/><br/>An exhibition opened this week at Stellantis' Heritage Center in Turin; A number of classic and modern Abarth models were exhibited here, as well as a scale model of a new mid-engine sports car.<br/><br/>The car in question is the Abarth Classiche 1300 OT, a modern interpretation of the Fiat Abarth OT 1300, the small and successful Fiat 850-based sports racer from the 1960s. Even better, Abarth has announced it will make it, but only five will be built.<br/><br/>If you think the beautiful yellow coupe looks familiar, that's because it's essentially a hardtop version of 2022's Abarth Classiche 1000 SP, itself a nod to another of the company's mid-century racers.<br/><br/>This car, of which five will be produced, was actually a redesigned Alfa Romeo 4C, and although Abarth has yet to reveal any further details about the 1300 OT, it's almost certainly the same story. That means a carbon tub and mid-mounted 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 237 hp, a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, and almost certainly a curb weight of under a tonne.<br/><br/>Homages to the original 1300 OT include a toned-down version of the distinctive 'periscope' air intake and what looks like a proper clamshell rear section.<br/><br/>The Classiche 1300 OT is available to order now, although only five sets will be made so you better be quick if you want it.
