When he moves to Hyderabad to do a software job, he feels liberated. This newfound freedom makes him woo Vrinda (Shirley Setia), a North Indian living in the city, at the first opportunity. Vrinda, to his fortune, is his friendly manager. Much as she loves Krishna, Vrinda is in a bind because she is barren owing to a disorder. Krishna now takes a tricky decision. He pulls the wool over his mother's eyes and marries Vrinda. Least does he realize that this is not going to be smooth sailing.<br/><br/>This film doesn't subscribe to regular notions of masculinity. In this regard, director Aneesh R Krishna must be commended. Naga Shaurya's character doesn't mind being at the receiving end of the raw deal if it makes his girlfriend happy. Like many Telugu cinema male leads, he is mistaken often by those who are supposed to behave better.<br/><br/>Mahathi Swara Sagar's musical flavour sits pretty with the mood of the film. 'Emundi Ra' is enjoyable, although the rest of the songs don't match up to its standard. Sai Sriram's cinematography makes the production values look better. Compared to Shaurya's films like 'Nartanasala', 'KVV' has got a much better visual appeal.<br/><br/>For a change, the story taps into the dynamics of an evolving relationship between a woman and her mother-in-law. In doing so, it makes sense. There are dialogues that sensitize us to the need to empathize with the pulls and pressures faced by working women. Radhika Sarathkumar makes us see her character's point without appearing mean. It's also amusing that she is shown to be someone who has the ability to predict the future accurately.<br/>Shirley Setia makes a vivacious Telugu debut. She looks believable as a North Indian migrant in Hyderabad, drawing the unwarranted attention of a lot of men. Amitabh Pradhan's negative role could have been etched in a better way, though.<br/><br/>The arc of Vennela Kishore's character is funny, with the coma portions standing out. Satya is effortless. Brahmaji can make us enjoy even ordinary lines. Wish Rahul Ramakrishna had got to do better. Annapurnamma is seen as Krishna's granny, while Saranya Pradeep and Himaja have their parts.<br/><br/>The second half is where the actual story takes place. Much of the drama happens indoors. The conversations between three different characters make for a dramatic watch. The climax has the right quantum of simplicity and likeability. The pub scene is not squandered away.<br/>On the downside, the workplace portions should have been constructed in a realistic fashion. The frustrations of Satya and Rahul Ramakrishna are captured well initially. By and by, classist humour and regular tropes like a mean guy creeping up the female lead make their way. _yorkshire39s-onward-christiansoldiers-writer-celebrated-in-new-show.webp "Yorkshire clergyman Sabine Baring-Gould was a Victorian superstar who wrote Onward Christian Soldiers for a Whitsun Sunday School parade in his parish in 1865.<br/>But his incredible life was filled with other amazing achievements which have been largely forgotten, until now.<br/>A new touring show- about to get its official world premier in his former Wakefield parish of Horbury - will tell how he he was a top five best-selling novelist; the writer of what is still the go-to book on werewolves and inspired Bram Stoker to write Dracula.He was aaa storyteller of the Norse Myths of Iceland and even featured in a Sherlock Holmes novel as the detective’s godfather. <br/>In real life he married Horbury mill worker Grace Taylor, after educating her in society etiquette, inspiring George Bernard Shaw's bestseller Pygmalion, which later became the Hollywood musical My Fair Lady.<br/>But the curate said the most important thing he ever did was to save a huge collection of folk songs from, Devon and Cornwall, where he was originally from.<br/> Some of those songs, interweaved with anecdotes from his own astonishing life and stories from his books willmark the centenary of his death in a new touring show called Ghosts, Werewolves and Countryfolk.<br/>It stars six-time BBC Folk Awards nominee Jim Causley and Miranda Sykes, of award-winning Show of Hands and Yorkshire-based Daphne’s Flight, and is narrated by John Palmer, director of the critically-acclaimed Vaughan Williams anniversary From Pub to Pulpit Cathedral tour.<br/>The premier will be at Horbury Working Members Club on Friday, May 17, 7pm to 9pm, beforeit goes on a 25-date national tour. _woman-gives-birth-in-ford-mondeo-while-stuck-in-traffic-on-the-way-to-hospital.webp "A woman gave birth to her baby in the front seat of her Ford Mondeo - after getting stuck in traffic on the way to hospital.<br/><br/>Demi Clark, 22, was 40 weeks pregnant when she began getting cramps, indicating she was going into labour.<br/><br/>Demi jumped into the car with her partner Daniel Moy, 32, and her mum Maria Clark, 41, and they sped off to Sunderland Royal Hospital.<br/><br/>But on the way the family, from Whiteleas, South Shields, got stuck in traffic crossing Sunderland Bridge.<br/><br/>At the same moment Demi began getting strong contractions and felt the urge to push.<br/><br/>In standstill traffic, Demi had no choice but to labour in the front seat while Maria, who had no medical training, helped deliver from the back seat.<br/><br/>Baby Delilah, Demi's third child, was born weighing 7lbs 13oz.<br/><br/>She had to be wrapped in a jacket until they finally arrived in hospital by ambulance.<br/><br/>Delilah spent some time in hospital before being discharged - and is now at home with her family.<br/><br/>Demi, a stay-at-home mum, said: \")
