The UK is home to the Monster Truck Nationals and in 2019 English monster legend, Mike Murty attempted a world first with his truck ‘Big Pete.’ Mike told FutureStudiosCars: “We have planned for many years, and for the first time it will be seen this weekend - the world’s first monster truck and trailer, which we designed to be able to crush the cars.” Powered by a Big-Block Chevrolet V8 engine, three-speed automatic gearbox, and sporting Mega X BIB tyres - Big Pete is known to jump 15 feet and always puts on an amazing show. Mike explained why it was so special, “this is one of the only working monster trucks out there, still running leaf-sprung suspension - most drivers can't handle it because it is so hard on the body.” He continued, “it looks totally different from any other monster truck out there.” The first thing that anybody sees when faced with Big Pete is the truck’s most prominent feature - huge tyres, which cost over $4500 each. “The pressure that we run in these tires helps with the suspension”, Mike explained.Big Pete’s unique body is built with genuine steel and aluminum. \

The pair were in contact over the years that followed before Juan and Phuong's wife, Linda, decided to plan a surprise first meeting for her husband. In September 2023, at a salon where Linda works in Katy, Texas, Phuong was chatting to his wife when Juan and his family walked in for the big surprise. A stunned Phuong could not believe his eyes, heading over to his half-brother for an emotional first hug that had been fifty years in the making.")

Clemson holds a special place in the hearts of 29-year-old Brindley Faile Perrini's family, where her parents, Randy and Trellise, met during their studies. Between 1982 and 1984, Randy was also the university's famed Tiger mascot, which meant that Brindley, who graduated from Clemson, and her sister later became huge fans of the college, attending numerous mascot reunions with their dad as teenagers. Sadly for the family, though, Randy passed away from a heart attack in 2018 after 34 years of marriage, leaving Brindley with a hole to fill when walking down the aisle on her wedding day. Mom Trellise, 61, devised a plan to make things extra special. Having reached out to the Clemson, a committee discussed the idea Trellise had put forward: that the Clemson Tiger would walk Brindley down the aisle in her father's place. Brindley said that the Tiger had never fulfilled this duty, but after the committee approved the request, the wheels were set in motion. Ahead of her wedding at Alexander Homestead in Charlotte, North Carolina, Brindley felt bummed because a photo charm of her father had not arrived in time to add to her bouquet. This provided the perfect cover for the surprise, as while Brindley was having her bridal portraits taken on March 23, her mom said: 'I know you were upset that the photo charm didn’t come in, so I got you a little something to help you honor Dad.'
