Description: The British ‘ruled’ India from 1858 to 1947. During this time the local ex-pats stocked the rivers and lakes with brown trout. These trout flourished in the pristine Himalayan states of Northern India. More recently the Indian Fisheries Department has kept the rivers stocked. I was lucky enough to be based close to the Barot Valley, located in the Northern State of Himachal Pradesh, India. This video chronicles a little fishing trip into the valley.
