I shot this during the Ganpati (Elephant God) festival in Mumbai this year. nnThere is a lot of faith and devotion that I witnessed towards this God. But what I couldn't put my head around was how after the Ganpati idol is immersed by the devotees as per ritual, no one bothers about how these same idols float back on the beach all in pieces and ruined. nThis festival is a loved one (and truly I saw a lot of love and respect while I was shooting it) so the film is not about 'let's stop celebratin
