hi all, here is another update of my project. I built the pan tilt head out of flat aluminum that I purchased from Lowe's. The motor that I'm using for the tilt axis is a Nema 17 geared stepper motor. I think I'm going to replace the Nema 17 stepper that I'm using to drive the slider with a Nemam 17 geared stepper since they seem to be quieter and have better torque than the ordinary stepper motor. I have a little bounce and flex with the aluminum frame so I plan on adding reinforcement tonight
